Difference between art print and digital print
These art prints, called giclée prints, are manually colour corrected by an art expert and printed on the best high end printer especially built for art reproductions.
The printer has not not 4 but 9 cartridges. The colours of art prints are much more intense, and the prints do not fade over time (but don’t hang them in the sun directly).
I have chosen the best quality paper I could find for reproductions, being 100% cotton, 308 grs Photo Rag Hahnemuhle paper.
To garantuee quality, each print comes with a certificiate of authenticity, which includes all the information of the print, and which number of the edition you have purchased (in case of a numbered edition). The certificate is signed by me, and include an embossed seal.
Every print has its unique number in the series. It’s not possible to request a certain number as the prints are sold in the order of purchase, and the number you want might already be sold to someone else.
The art prints are best framed including a mount (or in Dutch ‘passe-partout’). Do not hang art prints or original art in direct sunlight. If you want to hang the art in a sunny room I suggest opting for UV-protected glass in your frame.
